What this site is, what it is not, and how its work may be used.

Welcome. By using nityaveda.com.au you agree to these terms, kept as short and plain as we can make them.
Nityaveda is an independent educational project on the Hindu tradition as a living spiritual path. It is not affiliated with any temple, organisation or movement, and nothing here asks you to join, convert or believe.
Everything on this site is shared for learning and reflection. It is general information about a tradition and a practice. It is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgement of qualified professionals or your own community’s teachers.
Panchang and almanac values are computed astronomically, in your browser, from the true positions of the Sun and the Moon. Conventions differ between regions, traditions and calendar makers, so dates and timings here may differ from your family’s or your temple’s reckoning. For observances, your own community’s guidance comes first.
Where the site pairs sky events with meaning, the dates are astronomy and the meaning is tradition, offered as it has been carried. We make no predictive claims and tell no fortunes.
The writing, design and imagery on this site are ours. You are welcome to read, link, and quote briefly with attribution for personal and educational use. The scriptures and mantras themselves belong to the whole tradition; our renderings and presentations of them remain ours. Please do not republish pages wholesale or use the material commercially without asking.
Please do not misuse the contact form, attempt to disrupt the site, or harvest its content at volume.
Where we link to other sites, including the primary sources we cite, those sites are their own. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
The site is provided as it stands. We work carefully on accuracy and keep our sources primary, but we make no guarantee that the content is complete, current or free of error, and to the extent the law allows (your non-excludable rights under Australian law are untouched) we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on it.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
If these terms change, the new version appears here with a fresh date.
